World Communion Sunday is a special day celebrated by many Christian churches around the world, usually on the first Sunday in October. On this day, believers everywhere share in the Lord’s Supper (Communion) to remember that they are part of one global family in Jesus Christ. It began in the 1930s as a way to show unity among different churches, and today it is observed by many denominations across continents. The focus is on celebrating our shared faith, giving thanks for Christ’s sacrifice, and recognizing the diversity of cultures and people who follow Him. It’s a reminder that no matter our language, background, or location, we are united at the Lord’s Table.
