Meeting CAM's Current Needs

CAM is seeking contributions to meet essential needs, and there are various ways you can help:

• Men’s Clothing: Small-sized jeans, shorts, and t-shirts
• New Underwear: For both men and women, alongside gently used bras
• Tennis Shoes: For all genders and sizes
• Volunteers: Extend your time and skills to those in need
• Feminine Hygiene Products: Consistently in demand

CAM's Adopt-a-Child School Supply Program

As we approach the school year, CAM's 'Adopt-a-Child' Program plays a vital role in ensuring that 450 children are equipped for academic success. This initiative allows sponsors to adopt a student by purchasing a backpack and school supplies tailored to the child's specific needs.

Why Participate?

This program provides essential tools for education, giving children the confidence to excel. When children have the supplies they need, they are set up for success, reducing barriers to learning and enhancing their educational experience.

How to Contribute:

Sponsor a Student

Receive the child's name, grade, and school details, then purchase their specific requested items. Completed backpacks should be delivered to CAM's Downtown Warehouse Building between July 21st and July 25th.

Volunteer

Assist in receiving or distributing backpacks. (Note: This may require the ability to lift filled backpacks.) Receivers will welcome and help donors, while distributors will provide backpacks to families during pickup times.

A Story of Success: Vanessa's Experience

Every year, CAM hosts a Back-to-School drive for school-aged children, known as the 'Adopt-a-Child' Program. Last year, sweet Vanessa, who was going into second grade, couldn't wait to come to CAM to pick up her brand-new pretty pink backpack. She ran into our Admin building, leaving her mom behind in her tracks! Vanessa ran in, and one of our staff members showed her where her backpack was. Vanessa's eyes lit up from ear to ear. She was so elated to see all of her new goodies for school. Once her mom finally made it in, she had tears in her eyes seeing how happy Vanessa was. This program sets our children up for success with new school uniforms, new socks and undies, a new backpack, and all of the supplies they need for that year. School is hard enough on kids, and when they don't have the supplies needed, it sets them up for failure. We feel blessed that God continuously provides for CAM so we can continue providing programs such as Back-to-School for children in need.
