Midday Noels Concert Series: “A Gift to the City"

The Midday Noels concert series is a long-standing Advent tradition at First Presbyterian Church of San Antonio. Each December, our Sanctuary fills with music and joy as local artists, ensembles, and our own FPC musicians share inspiring holiday performances. Concerts are free and open to all—our annual “gift to the city.”
Following each concert, enjoy:
- Hot lunch ($15) in Westminster Hall
- Grab-and-Go lunch ($5) available in the Sanctuary Foyer

2025 Concert Schedule
Thursday, December 4 - Hear the Bells Ring and Voices Sing!
Join us for this showcase of talent from across our music ministry featuring our Sanctuary Handbells and carols offered by our Chamber Singer ensemble. The program will include memorable Christmas carols such as the beautiful “Still, Still, Still.”
Thursday, December 11 - Jazz Jingles with the Dirty River Jazz Band
We are pleased to once again welcome the Dirty River Jazz Band to the Midday Noels Series. Made up of musicians from across the San Antonio area, many of the members of the band were mentored by jazz legend Jim Cullum.
Thursday, December 18 - Shimmering Brass with the Castle Brass Quintet
We are pleased to welcome the Castle Brass Quintet, featuring some of the finest freelance professional musicians in San Antonio. The ensemble—comprised of two trumpets, French horn, trombone, tuba, and percussion—is led by Jeff Castle, a United States Air Force veteran and trumpet teacher at The University of Texas San Antonio.
