Jesus’ new commandment to love one another calls His followers to a deeper, more intentional way of living together. This love is not optional or sentimental, but active, mutual, and shaped by the way Jesus Himself loved—through sacrifice, patience, and grace. Within the community of faith, believers learn to practice this love daily, even when it is difficult. By loving one another well, the church becomes a visible witness to the transforming power of Christ.
