This sermon focused on the gift of time and how God calls us to use it wisely. Rev. Dr. Bob Fuller  reminded us that stewardship is not only about money, but also about offering our time, talents, and hearts to the Lord. From Jeremiah 17, we learned that God gave the Sabbath as a blessing—a time for rest, worship, and renewal. When we honor the Sabbath, we show our trust in God rather than in our own busyness. The pastor encouraged us to slow down and make space for God in our daily lives, not just on Sundays. True rest, he said, is found in Jesus, who invites us to lay down our burdens and find peace in Him. By giving our time back to God, we learn to live with purpose, gratitude, and faith.
