The Love of God Made Known

John 17:24-26

  • October 6, 2024

Rev. Scott Simpson continues our breakdown of the High Priestly Prayer in John 17, focusing on 3 verses.  One of the most difficult things to unlearn is exclusivity.  Part of our human makeup is competitiveness, to be number one. What about our own personal attempts at being number one?  Winning at others' expense?  Tearing others down?  God uses the number one in an entirely different way.  Jesus prays in John 17 that we may be one in Christ.  This type of one is to relinquish all exclusiveness voluntarily.
