He challenges listeners not to view others “according to the flesh,” but to see them as God does—through the lens of grace and potential renewal. Personal growth in Christ is a continual journey, not a one-time event, requiring daily surrender to the Spirit’s guidance. Ultimately, he calls believers to be ambassadors of Christ, allowing the Spirit to work through them in ordinary settings to accomplish extraordinary kingdom purposes. As we come to the communion table, he invites each person to consider how the Spirit may be calling them to be made new today.
