The Gift of His Dreams

1 Kings 3:3-5

  • Rev. Dr. Bob Fuller
  • October 27, 2024

God uses visions and dreams, prophecies, signs and experiences to teach us and reveal His plans for our lives and mission. He uses extraordinary ways to take us beyond the apparent limitations of our own capacity to imagine to see not just what we can do, but what God can do.

Dr. Fuller talks about the identity of Solomon and his obstacles of securing the throne - and his rule was fragile, with the delicate balance between peace and civil war.

Solomon prays for wisdom and inspiration.  He humbly and vulnerably admits that he needs help.

He was also praying for inspiration, for the Lord to give him ideas and dreams, answers he could not come up with on his own.
