Studying the High Priestly prayer of Jesus reveals God’s priestly role for His people. The security Christians have in God’s steadfast love is meant to manifest in significance of God’s mission through us.

In regards to God’s mission, Christians are generally:
Derailed- As Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams’ mission in space (on the ISS)
Deluded- We have become like the world, afraid of being marginalized we lost mission
Disengaged- Christians focus on ourselves at the expense of responding to God’s grace by giving ourselves for God’s purposes.

Seeing God and His love and work for us deploys the Church for God’s mission to the world.
