Have You Seen His Glory?

  • Whit Anderson
  • December 21, 2025

On the fourth Sunday of Advent, Whit Anderson preached from John 1, calling us to behold the lasting glory revealed in the incarnation of Jesus Christ. He reminded us that Jesus is the eternal Word—fully God, creator of all things, and the source of true life and light—who willingly became flesh and dwelt among us. Unlike the fleeting “glory” we experience in life, the glory of Christ transforms us, loosening the grip of lesser things and renewing our hearts and priorities. The incarnation shows us the depth of God’s love, assuring us that we are remembered, pursued, and redeemed by a God who comes near. This miracle calls for faith, not full understanding, just as Mary believed God’s promise. Finally, we are challenged to live incarnationally ourselves—going where God calls, loving sacrificially, and reflecting Christ’s light in a dark world as we wait in hope for His coming.
