Do Not Be Afraid - Modern

The Gospel According to Matthew Matthew 28:1-10

  • Rev. Dr. Bob Fuller
  • April 5, 2026

Rev. Dr. Bob Fuller’s Easter sermon teaches that the resurrection is not just a story, but a real event that changes how we live. He explains that Jesus is no longer in the tomb, so we should not stay focused on the past, but follow Him into the world. The message “do not be afraid” reminds us that Jesus has defeated death and keeps His promises. Because of this, we no longer need to live in fear, especially the fear of losing what matters most. Fuller shows how fear can quietly control our lives and keep us from living fully. But through the resurrection, Jesus sets us free from that fear. He calls us to leave behind our old ways and step into a new life with courage and trust. Easter is an invitation to live boldly, knowing that Jesus is alive and with us.
