ONE Worship - World Communion Sunday
Join us on Sunday, October 5, for ONE Worship at 11:00 AM in the FPC Sanctuary as we celebrate World Communion Sunday. Observed on the first Sunday of October, this global Christian observance emphasizes unity and diversity within the worldwide Christian community, as believers gather to share bread and wine (or grape juice), symbolizing their unity in Christ.
As part of our celebration, instead of our regularly scheduled Adult Sunday School classes, you're invited to attend one of five special Global Mission Classes from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. These sessions will focus on different world regions—Asia, Africa, Mission South, Europe, and The Muslim World—offering us a chance to learn how we can support our global ministry partners. Please note that regular Sunday School for children and students, along with nursery care, will still be provided.
The day will conclude with a lunch reception in Westminster Hall, where you can enjoy fellowship and learn more about our partners and upcoming service opportunities. For more information or inquiries, please contact our Mission Ministry. Join us for this meaningful day of worship and reflection as we deepen our understanding of God's work globally and consider our role within it!
