
Flood Relief Comfort Kit Packing
Join us on Sunday, September 7, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM in the Geneva Room for our Flood Relief Comfort Kit Packing Event. Help support families and children affected by the Hill Country flooding by assembling kits filled with essential items and heartfelt messages of encouragement. We welcome everyone to participate during church hours. Donations can be brought by September 7 or purchased via our Amazon wish list by September 4 to ensure timely delivery.
Even if you're unable to donate items, we need your help writing handwritten notes of encouragement to include in the kits. Please drop by the Geneva Room to assist with card writing. This event is a wonderful opportunity to unite as a community and make a tangible difference in the lives of those recovering from this disaster.
Items needed for Comfort Kits:
- Gift Cards ($20-$25 suggested, HEB or Whataburger)
- Off bug spray
- Work gloves
- Travel Kleenex packs
- Microfiber towels
- Masks/bandanas
- Hand sanitizer
- Snacks (granola/protein bars)
- Electrolyte powder packets
- Lens cleaner wipes
- Alcohol swabs
- Small pocket journals and pens
- Small First Aid kits
- Handwritten notes of encouragement
