The First 500: The Age of the Early Church

Join us this fall at First Presbyterian Church for an enlightening journey through the formative years of Christianity with our Pastor’s Bible Study & Lay Academy. Our new series, "The First 500: The Age of the Early Church," begins on September 10 & 11. Sessions are held Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM and Thursday mornings at 9:30 AM in Covenant Hall, with small breakout groups on Thursdays starting at 10:30 AM.

Dive into the Early Church:

Explore early Christianity's pivotal events and influential figures. From the bold acts of early church fathers to the profound teachings of St. Augustine, discover the moments that defined our faith, including the rise of heresies, the resilience of persecuted believers, and the key declarations of the Nicene Creed. This class is perfect for those new to church history and lifelong learners alike, offering valuable insights to enrich your discipleship journey.

Online Content and Resources:

Join the live stream of each Thursday morning session on our website's front page or at fpcsanantonio.org/live. Recordings and podcasts will be available afterward on the Resources and Updates page. Engage with downloadable outlines and thought-provoking questions to enhance your study.
