Join us for this year’s "Back to School Prayer at the Flagpole" on Sunday, August 10 at 5:00 PM. This is a special occasion to gather as a community and pray for the students, teachers, and staff in our local schools. We invite you to choose a school—whether it's your child’s, your neighborhood's, or any other school—and come together with family members, friends, students, and teachers.
The gathering will be informal, lasting about 30 minutes, with the sole purpose of covering the schools in our city with prayer for safety, protection, and a healthy learning environment. This is a wonderful way to start the new school year and support San Antonio's educational community.
We especially encourage junior and high school students, alongside other community members, to participate in strengthening the spiritual foundation of our schools through collective prayer.
