The Distinctive Doctrines of the Reformation

Overview:

The Protestant Reformation was grounded on 5 principles that have shaped the teaching and practice of the church for 500 years: Grace-alone, Scripture-alone, Christ Alone, Faith alone, and  for God’s Glory Alone. The “Five-Solas” (from the Latin word “sola,”— alone), are principles that have helped to keep our doctrine, worship, mission, and fellowship faithful to the foundational truth of the gospel and the Biblical witness to Jesus Christ. When properly understood, the five solas provide clarity for belief, inspiration for devotion, and protection from the errors and misrepresentations that undermine healthy discipleship.
