The Apostles' Creed

Discover the heart of the Christian faith through Pastor’s Bible Study & Lay Academy at First Presbyterian Church. This Spring 2026 study invites participants to slow down and engage deeply with The Apostles’ Creed—the ancient confession of faith that has united Christians across centuries and traditions.

Led by Dr. Jonathan King, the Fellows Program Director for the Zbinden Center, this series explores not only what Christians believe, but why it matters. Though the Creed is familiar, each line opens rich theological, biblical, and practical insight, shaping how faith is lived and practiced in the world today. Whether you are new to the Creed or have recited it for years, this study offers space for thoughtful reflection, learning, and conversation.

Schedule & Format

• Wednesdays, January 7–February 25 at 6:30 PM
  (No class on Ash Wednesday evening)

• Thursdays, January 8–February 26 at 9:30 AM, followed by Small Groups

• Location: Covenant Hall

This Lay Academy Bible Study serves in place of the Pastor’s Bible Study during January and February. Bob Fuller will resume Pastor’s Bible Study in March (details forthcoming).
